Alright, check this out! Some years ago we had a benefit distro, selling records and other second hand stuff. The money we got in we gave to helping refugees and, later on, to the Nepalee union GEFONT. Totally we sent about 800 EUR to GEFONT, by help from our newfound friend Leif Bjellin, who we found through the SAC (Swedish Syndicalist union for all you non-swedes). During 2006 the Rhododendron Revolution took place, which now is the official name for the events that overthrew the monarchy and installed the present interrim government. A process that hopefully will lead to public elections and more democracy soon. The other week Leif contacted us again to tell us that GEFONT had used the money we sent to make this DVD. Needlessly to say we don't have the words to express how proud and honoured we are to have gotten the chance to contribute in this way to such memorable events. Of course we're also very thankful to everyone who bought anything out of the distro back in the days. The benfit distro is not active for the moment. Maybe we'll take it up in the future.
